tv and film opening sequence comparison
today we were set the task to compare a t-v series title sequence with a films title sequence, comparing the look and style, the purpose, target audience, elements and who created the sequence. it was interesting to see who made it and how it showcases the film or t-v program.

character design
today we were to create a costume sheet planning what we were going to wear and wich props we were going to use, we had to think realistically about what we could get hold of and how we would portray these in our scene.
SNATCH effect title sequence planning.
We were introduced to our new project which is to create a opening sequence to a film with the theme of snatch, we started of by watching the original snatch opening sequence.
We them got in our groups and started to brain storm, we described characters and ideas for our sequence, we planned the order and how each character would link together. After this were given sheets to story board our individual scenes we had to think about camera shots, scenes, costumes and props.

TRAPPED POSTER ANALYSIS
this is my final poster for my film tapped,
people: the person you see in the poster is the main character in the film, because she's the main character i wanted her to be on it as i didn't want to give anything away this position of the character leaves the audience to think why she's like this and how its happened.
design: the shot we used was originally from the film, we re-created this shot with a stills camera and edited the colour to give it a mysterious feel, the whole look of the poster is modern and simple which reflects our film as a whole.
title: our original title was created on i stop motion and i really liked the sketchy writing so re-created this on pen and paper and then took photos of it and edited to fit the poster, i really like the contrast of the white writing against the darker background it stands out and gives off a great effect. i added a question mark to the end of trapped so that the audience are made to think about the un-known and if the character is trapped at all, it leaves the audience wondering and makes them want to know what happens so they would eventually see the film.
colour: the whole effect of my poster was created when i changed the settings on the camera to a dark purple colour i really think that it gives a great simplistic feel which ties in with the story line of out film i kept the theme of simple colour throughout the poster with plain white writing standing our from the background.
other information: i placed the release date at the bottom so there attention is first on the film and why things are as they are making the audience think about seeing the film and then takes there attention to when the film will be released so that they can see it.
